Any water that enters the buildings skin must have a way to evacuate itself. Ensuring your project has the correct moisture barriers will make sure to eliminate any trapped water. Knee walls greater than 3 inches should include proper flashing to provide adequate drainage.
Drains must also be adequate in size to allow for enough flow to prevent pooling and depending on your location in Ontario overflow drains may also be required in addition.
Evaporation
